Police reports are done on all accident investigations done by the Sinking Spring Police Department. Copies of reports are available at the Police Office for $15.00 during normal office hours or by contacting the on-duty officer at 610-678-1906.
In Pennsylvania, all accidents in which there is an injury and all accidents where a vehicle must be towed as a result of the accident are considered REPORTABLE accidents and a police investigation is required by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Otherwise, accidents are not required to be reported, however most insurance companies require that an accident be reported to police before a claim will be paid.
If you are involved in an accident, you should contact police immediately and remain at the scene until they arrive.
