Trash
Trash collection is every Wednesday.
Residents are encouraged to place their trash containers curbside the evening prior to collection day. Each household unit and participating commercial business is allowed a maximum of (6) thirty-two gallon containers not to exceed fifty (50) pounds each.
Recycling
Recycling pick-up is every Wednesday.
This is a separate truck just for recycling pick-up. Because trash and recycling are on the same day, we ask that you use Recycling Containers only. Call the Borough office to request a recycling container if you have not received one.
Holiday Pick-up – Thursday
When a MAJOR Holiday falls on Monday thru Wednesday, trash will be picked-up on Thursday of that week.
Bulk Clean-up
Residents are allowed to place one bulk item out each week for pickup.
Yard Waste
All yard waste should be taken to the Sinking Spring Yard Waste Site located in the Rear of 152 Woodrow Avenue. Follow the signs. This yard waste site is for Borough residents only and is only for yard waste (grass clippings, leaves, tree branches, etc.) no lumber. No commercial dumping allowed. Yard waste is not allowed in the trash and will not be taken. You will need a Key Card to access the security gate at the site. Applications can be obtained at the Borough Office or on the Web Site.
